Antibes Juan-les-Pins Jazz Fest turns 50 in 2010

November 6th, 2009

When Jazz à Juan, Europe’s oldest jazz festival, celebrates its 50th Anniversary in Juan-les-Pins July 14-25, 2010, it will merit a true work of art. The Tourist Office of Antibes Juan-les-Pins is searching for an artist to create a special piece for what will be, without question, one of the major cultural events in France for 2010. And so they have launched an international art competition to choose the best visual for the 50th Anniversary of the Jazz à Juan Festival. Many young musicians have made a name for themselves performing on the mythic stage of the Pinède Gould…in the same spirit, Antibes Juan-les-Pins wants to offer young artists the chance to associate their name with this prestigious event.

Take note: the final date for submissions will be Monday, November 23, 2009 at noon (French time). To register, visit www.antibesjuanlespins.com. Good luck with your creations!
